Ice Skating
During the winter season, an open air ice skating rink can be found at the Park City Mountain Ski Resort. Bring the kids for a fun outing, or spend a romantic evening on the ice. Bring your own skates or rent them by the hour.


Tubing:
Gorgoza Park just off of I-80 before the main exit to Park City and is across the road from Jeremy Ranch. It has some of the best tubing around, plus you don't even have to break a sweat ( My type of activity ). Sit down on the big inner tube and be towed to the top for run after run, hours of winter fun. Gorgoza Park is lit up for exciting night tubing runs. Do it the fun way, take a break from sliding on the snow, and do it by sliding on the snow. They can be reached at (435) 658-2648.


Tubing @ Soldier Hollow in Midway Utah
Soldier Hollow in Wasatch Mountain State Park near Midway offers the longest tubing lanes in Utah. The hill has lengthy 1,200-foot sliding lanes with lift service for towing people up the hill for tubing day or night under the lights, and a sound system keeps the airwaves full of enjoyable tunes.


Cross-Country Skiing @ Soldier Hollow in Midway Utah

We have immaculately groomed trails for first timers, cross over downhill skiers and expert skaters or classic ‘striders’. After cruising trails like Pony Express and Spin and Grin (or free falling on the banked turns of Rollercoaster), settle in by the soaring fireplace in our award winning Lodge.


White Pine Cross-Country Ski Area
Located on the Park City Golf Course in the heart of the old mining town, White Pine features18 kilometers of groomed track that is ideal for all abilities. Lessons for beginners and advanced skiers are available daily. Full and half-day ski and snowshoe tours to the Uinta Mountains are also available.


Cross-Counrty Skiing at Norwegian Outdoor Exploration Center
The Exploration Center offers guided cross-country skiing nature tours. All tours are custom-designed and private, and include transportation, rentals, water, and experienced guides. Early reservations recommended, and lunches are optional.


Cross-Counrty Skiing at The Homestead Resort
The Homestead Resort operates 12 kilometers of cross-country skiing at the Homestead Golf Course, and 18 kilometers at Wasatch Mountain State Park. The rugged peaks of the mountains and the beautiful, pastoral setting of the Heber Valley define each of the courses.


Snowshoeing @ Soldier Hollow in Midway Utah
For those wishing to traverse the Olympic trails at a slower pace, or for those wanting to explore another aspect of Soldier Hollow, or for a nature photographer capturing the raptors or moose that frequent Soldier Hollow, snowshoeing is a great alternative to skiing. Snowshoe along the edges of the groomed trail network, follow single track trails to vantage points like the Crows's Nest, or forge your own trail - its all available at Soldier Hollow. A trail pass is $5 adults, $3 youth. And rentals are available for $5.
